Conservatories can be used in all seasons

As a manufacturer of garden furniture, I am always on the look out for the latest trends. The busiest time of year is obviously the summer months, however with the price of conservatories falling in recent years, people now tend to buy their garden furniture all year round. They are an extension of the garden during the summer and an extension of the house during the winter – and many come complete with both heaters and cooling systems. A conservatory has become much more of a garden room which is fully functional with some people using theirs as a study, some as a seating area and some even as an extra bedroom.

There is a wide range of garden furniture which is suitable for conservatories and as there is a roof, they do not need to be brought in every time it rains. If you plan to have your conservatory as a covered part of your garden, you might like wicker furniture or even wooden. There are many small coffee tables and easy-chairs which look excellent in any kind of garden room and they can be easily stored should you ever want to change the use of the room. Most people choose to have large windows and many even choose glass roofs for their conservatory. This gives the illusion of being out in the open but you are still shaded from all of the elements. They are essentially sun rooms and even during the cold winter days, sitting in the conservatory with the warmth of the winter sun is a great way to unwind.
